Judge My Every Scar

Judge My Every Scar

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

When the world doesn't understand you

"

With my arms wide open
Where can I begin
Can I see my self in redemption
Or falling through the cracks instead

I'm not always falling
But when I find myself without my wings
Can God hear me calling
When my rage drowns out everything

Am I too far out of reach
Have I flown a bit too far
I'm so tired of the hypocrites that preach
And judge my every scar

Is it all just a matter of patience
Have I crossed the line
As I race towards salvation
The Devils not far behind

Nice poem! I liked the contrast between being on the way to salvation but also falling towards the Devil.
