Lost in Fairy Tales

Lost in Fairy Tales

A Poem by Josh Anderson

Where in the world have the lovers gone

In a world devoid of song
The poets have lost the will to dream
Cause the world has all but lost it's beauty

Tell me all this is just a nightmare
That I can wake and the words will still be there
Tell me there's still power in a pen
And all the dreamers can learn to write again

It's so strange to see the time go
Watch it distort all you used to know
You can't help but lose yourself in fables

Cause it's so much easier to dream in fairy tales

You choose very good subject matter. I like this one as well. I have no advice regarding the arrangement of the poem itself, but well done!
