All it takes is a lie to shatter you completely 
Just a stray bullet fired 
Such a scar that can leave you hurt and bleeding 
And you're left branded a liar 

When it feels like all the world wants is your pain 
You've been kicked while you're down 
When you have got little hope remaining 
Just another drop for you to drown 

Just another day to see you smile 
To show the world they haven't won

Those who will stand against the flow
