Another Perfect Tragedy

Another Perfect Tragedy

A Poem by Josh Anderson

Lost is just a step away from found
Somewhere between this holy ground
I can't quite see where I belong
If I hear no sirens then it can't be wrong

It's just another perfect tragedy
Somewhere in this land of make believe
Where everything becomes nothing
And you become your own worst enemy

There's no elation to be found
It's hard to hear the music when you're underground
Just a step from you're own grave
Its the system of generation hate

It helps in war when you know your enemy
But what happens when it's a foe that you can't see
Just a shadow perched upon your wall
It's in the silence that they consume us all
