Medicine to Make an Angel Cry

Medicine to Make an Angel Cry

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

The perfect cure may ultimately be your affliction

"

I've got a really bad disease
But I don't feel like it's killing me
It can't be worse than Novocaine
Something just to take away the pain

Run to the edge just to get away
Another dose to make you scream mercy
String you out and reel you in
Just like that we have the perfect sin

The pains so bad you just want to scream
But then again nothings as it seems
A perfect lie, just in disguise
The type of medicine to make an angel cry
