I'm Not Okay

I'm Not Okay

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

When everyone thinks you're fine, but doesn't bother to ask

"

If you have something to say to me
Something you'd like to get of your chest
Another self fulfilling, dead end tragedy
Just to prove my life's a mess

Do you know my name
Beyond what's printed on cards and photographs
Do you know my pain
Beyond smiles and forced out laughs

Tell me are you listening
Because I don't think you really care enough to stay
I swear on every star that's shimmering
I swear I'm not okay

But you wouldn't know that would you
In your world of make believe
Where nothing but happy endings coming true
And there is no one suffering
