Will you Find me HereA Poem by Josh AndersonWhen all seems lost, can you be found?
Will you find me here
When all the ashes have fallen And the skies have long been cleared Of the clouds of black and sin Will you find me here Am I lost on the road I long traversed Before my journey is even close to ending Are the clouds above about to burst And the storms at last descending Will you find me here It's not for the love that I continue to fall Or the joy's that I wish to burn I only answer to mans mortal call And though I rise on wings, to earth I must return Will you find me here I ask not for mercy, though I know you give it free Look on me with kindness I ask only for the strength, to get a poor mans sleep It seems as though the night is endless Will you find me here © 2014 Josh Anderson |
