Generation Insanity

Generation Insanity

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

What is wrong with our world

"
Is this world going crazy
Or is it just a one way street
Is there a pattern to our crumbling society
Marching on clockwork feet

Is it just a normality
When everywhere I look
Children reading gospel from a magazine
Instead of the Holy book

When a smartphone takes place of family
Is that common nowadays
In our modern society
Generation love replaced by the digital age

It's a nightmare when everywhere I look I see
Children controlling parents, spoiled rotten
Where is the philosophy
Spare the rod, the worlds forgotten
Tell me what's wrong with our society
The Age of wealth
And yet I still see  kids starving on the streets
Raised in hell
Is this really the land of opportunity
When prosperity is scarce
Generation insanity
And no one really seems to care

I like this message, I agree I get tired of seeing this generation the way it is. At the end it sounds like it can have more added to it, but that could just be me.

Good Job
