Generation InsanityA Poem by Josh AndersonWhat is wrong with our world
Is this world going crazy
Or is it just a one way street Is there a pattern to our crumbling society Marching on clockwork feet Is it just a normality When everywhere I look Children reading gospel from a magazine Instead of the Holy book When a smartphone takes place of family Is that common nowadays In our modern society Generation love replaced by the digital age It's a nightmare when everywhere I look I see Children controlling parents, spoiled rotten Where is the philosophy Spare the rod, the worlds forgotten Tell me what's wrong with our society The Age of wealth And yet I still see kids starving on the streets Raised in hell Is this really the land of opportunity When prosperity is scarce Generation insanity And no one really seems to care © 2014 Josh Anderson |
