MonsterA Poem by Josh AndersonSometimes the world makes me feel like a monster
Break me, take me
Keep on lying, keep on hating A mask with a molded grin And a heart that is filled with sin One will have to break eventually But yours are the only cracks I see Love me, hold me But don't look to closely The monster inside Has grown too hungry to hide But perhaps I don't wish to hide him any longer Will or want, which one is stronger Scorn me, mourn me You better stick with your story Make me a monster I hope that you're stronger No torch can burn me, I already burn inside And you cannot kill me, because I already tried © 2014 Josh Anderson |
