Solid Rock

Solid Rock

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

No foundation is sturdier than the solid rock

"
Like shards of glass, my resolve has shattered
A ship afloat in a storm I'm battered
But upon the Solid Rock I stand
I reach Heaven by the strength of no mortal man

Beneath the weight of the world I'm crushed
The burden I bear seems to be too much
But the nail pierced hands lead me on
Through eternity and beyond

I walk on water by his spear pierced side
By the Lamb who never died
Light of the World who will never fade
I stand ready for my Judgement Day

^^ Oh I love this so much, I love the rhyme and rhythm, both of them are perfect. I also love the message you weaved gracefully throughout the poem, don't know what else to say besides AMAZING.

Great Job
