Faith of Stars

I wish I may 
I wished all night 
But by break of day 
There's no stars in sight 
In a blink they've gone away 
And all you're left with is your faith 

I lift my eyes
I try to see 
The starlit skies 
Where could they be 
Sometimes it's hard to find something with no face 
But therein lies the power of faith 

Stars were placed by the makers hand 
Stars He knew by name 
As with every grain of sand 
As with creation, the world He made 
With every star that you don't see in space 
Wish not by the sight, but by faith
