Hear the Emblem Sounds

Hear the Emblem Sounds

A Poem by Josh Alan

Lay down

Let the emblem sounds take you away

Black and dark, twirling around your head

So deeply in love

Falling out...

Deep wind...

If only you knew what I was saying

If only my eyes... Could speak

If only my hands, could not shake

The smile

Embedded in my brain

Echoed down the hall

So...deeply in love...

You know because I've said it before

Falling out...

Surrounded by pain

If only my lips could tell a story

Its getting dark...

Cloudy and gray

Time for sleep...

Not before I kiss you goodnight

I'll never forget

Hmm I like this poem. Very well penned but could use a bit more work with the flow.
Bravo (:
