 This is my first attempt at creative writing. I have written the first chapter and wanted to submit it for review and see how well/bad I did!

This is my first attempt at creative writing. Please let me know what you think. I'd like to know what I need to improve on for future. I was worried I had used bad punctuation and too much dialogue and made the start of the story sound boring. Let me know what you think.
