A Girl Named Chelsea

A Girl Named Chelsea

A Poem by Joseph

A girl named Chelsea is someone I want to meet

A girl named Chelsea is someone I wish to love

Chelsea is a name that is given to angels

And it is a name that symbolises might and glory

If you are out there, and I hope you are

I want to tell you that you’re amazing

How beautiful you are, and I love your angelic wings

You move with grace and smile as brightly as the sun

With your company, I’d smile the biggest smile

I’ll beam so much I’ll become young again

True love is anywhere with you

And when you are onside, not offside

It doesn’t matter where we may be

I’ll remain in love with you over a candlelit meal

Or over a duet at a karaoke night at Loco’s

And I would sing you the great love songs of Bon Jovi

Because if you told me to lie for you, I could

If you told me to die for you, I would

I won’t ever have to go outside to look at the stars

Because I can see them sparkle in your eyes

You know I would support you in every way

Even though you are strong in attack and strong in defence

I will cheer you on and shout from the hilltop

Come on Chelsea and I love you Chelsea

I long to find you, my beloved Chelsea

And I give you this poem to introduce myself
