LongingA Poem by JM TaylorA mother's present love is so pivotal. The loneliness I felt was unbearable. It was a slow torture to the death of my child self's soul.
I was alone, and afraid. Never chose to be In it. Desperately calling to mama to play with me, But she wouldn't. I can't recall a time she held me in her arms, armed robbery of intimacy.
Now hating but longing at the same time to be touched. If someone could break down the barriers of the old me, please.. anyone, just hold me. © 2025 JM Taylor |
