Unorphaned

Unorphaned

A Poem by JM Taylor
"

After a life time of being hated by the woman who made me and having a father who was too troubled mentally to be around... I found love in the last place I ever thought I would.

"
I'm finally Protected.
A lion guarding his young - After being torn limb by limb, battered and bruised.
My trust in him is weary, but he knows it to be expected.
He's there regardless of the push and pull. He's aware that its harmless.. It isn't rational but it makes sense to him and I'm vindicated.
I'm emotional but validated.
Loved perfectly.
It casts out all fear as I draw near to the one who not only wanted me, but is flaunting me!
He's there for every performance, and every mundane moment..
When I sing out his name, I couldn't frame it any better in his mind.
He loves the way I line up my words.
He loves my rhymes.
He loves who I was. , who I am and who I will be. Unconditionally. Whole.
He is God, my Father.
The lover of my soul.
