Dole Out

Dole Out

A Poem by Jorge Ron

Picked up the phone
and said "hello"
I asked for my soul
back from the devil
tie my veins
around my neck
drink this jack
and get upset
New york's doll
sits back with no stress
burned my heart
with this used cigarrette
and smile for the camera
dole out and cry
go to the cinema
watch love couples die
Come back with some sorrow
and smile upside down
and play with the whiskey
'till things get too loud
go break the doll
and lover's love found
but wait for your mark
when your heart gets blown out
