Too Late To Cry

Too Late To Cry

A Poem by Jorge Ron

Conclusion is permanent
nobody cries
no control over fears
dreadfully lies
she was under my chin
in the most glorious times
now she's under his
desolation strikes hard
And my desires ran away
Along with my control
and with the smile her face
she forgot my soul
there's a thought in my mind
that she couldn't show
You cry on his shoulder
and you left me alone
her words were spoken first
now silence is long
and I'll lie to myself
and tell me not to cry
but it's too late
and tears fall from the sky
I cry in the dark
for these feelings are cruel
love is an art
and I've ran out of fuel
and i know that if you come back to me
I'll say go away
because now i know
it's too late to cry.

I've never had my heart broken, so I don't know how it feels, but your poem transported it in a much clearer way than my experience would, Brilliant!

Profound pain felt here...the loss of love is a bitter blow to the heart... you penned out the depth of sadness well here. Wonderful work.
