Youth

Youth

A Poem by Jorge Peppertrees

Hair sliding brush
Five years old
Mommy
Needs met
Simple contentment
Routine
Everything new
Young one, you know all
and nothing

You have captured youths innocence in an enigmatic alluring way, brevity at its brilliant best!

Thank you :) I have been working to correct wordiness.
its a shame the innocence is lost in growing up for those moments are special

This is a wonderful read. Savor all these moments because they grow so quickly.

Thanks, I am learning to.
I connect with this a lot. Got a little daughter and that's right, she knows all haha. Although some things surprise me, she understands better than I do sometimes. Thanks for sharing!
