Ruins

Ruins

A Poem by Jordyn Zacharias

Rising form the Rocky Earth
Brick by Brick was built
An Orange wall and Tower Tall
To look upon the fields

Fields of Rock and Dusty Dirt
Where nothing green appears
Lay Beneath the castles view
And not a sound was heard

I'm not usually one for poems, but I like this one a lot. You really nailed the rhythm and flow.
I have nothing to recommend about the poem itself, just point out a couple of those minor errors that everybody makes. In the first line, is form supposed to be from? And I guess if you wanted to be super nit-picky, castles should be castle's?
Seriously, it's so good that all I have to say is about the stupid spelling errors. Well done.
