Narcissus

Narcissus

A Poem by Jordyn Zacharias

A River runs through an Orange Wood
As a man sits by the bank
He stares into the water
While speaking to Father
And wishing to stay for good

I like the "S" sound in this poem, as it's descriptive of nature, the sibbilance emphasizes it. it gives an image of wind through trees. it maybe short as a poem, but it's good.
