Masquerade

Masquerade

A Poem by Jordyn Zacharias

Furies Howl
Between my Ears
Over Nervous Thoughts
And Nervous Fears
The Siren Speaks
I do not Hear
Through Ruby Lips
and Eyes so Clear

Across the Way
She sits so Near
A Smiling Face
Naught to Fear
With hair like Chocolate
And Shoulder Bare
Like a Doll
With Thick Veneer
