Rain's First MurderA Story by JordynKayAnger… Sorrow… Happiness… Loneliness… Happiness again... Laughing now… But there’s so many tears… How can there be so many tears when she is laughing so much? How can she be laughing when she feels so lonely and uncomfortable? And where is she anyway? It was raining here… She knew that… And she was crouching in a dark corner of a dirty alleyway. But this was definitely not New York. She wasn’t on Earth. She was on Nariss now. Alone, and very upset. And very giddy at the same time. The world spun as she laughed maniacally. And suddenly, she wasn’t alone. “Look here men… We got ourselves a gift from the gods…” a big, skinny man said to his two friends. She only glared up at them, curling further into herself. She stayed silent as he knelt in front of her and eyed her suggestively. She curled her lip. “If you want to keep those eyes, I suggest you leave me alone.” she hissed, backing away and preparing to attack if needed. The man chuckled, leaning forward. “You have fight in you, girl. I like that.” He moved even closer, touching her face. She snarled, launching forward and digging her thumbs into the man’s eyes. “I told you to leave me alone!” she yelled as he screeched in pain. She couldn’t help but grin, feeling a calm rush over her as he wailed. She kept him pinned to the ground, cackling as his friends abandoned him. She slowly leaned down as she picked up a sharp object from the ground. She giggled lightly. “See?” she asked, snickering at her own joke. “It’s just you and me now… We’re all alone…” She hissed, leaning next to his ear. He shuddered and she grinned. She took the sharp object and dug it into his arm, twisting her hand as he yelped. She cackled again, her voice growing more and more frantic. “This feels great…” she cooed, slamming her makeshift blade into his mouth when he called her a very mean name. “You don’t get to talk!” she shouted, smiling at his pain filled whine. She laughed childishly, sliding the knife through his mouth and out his cheek. Blood splattered and she giggled while her victim gurgled against the blood in his throat. She could feel his struggles growing weaker and weaker. It satisfied her. “Don’t you think this is fun?” she asked, digging the blade into his shoulder now. She laughed loudly, quickly yanking it through his skin. He cried out loudly, coughing up blood as he did so. It sprayed her face and she was suddenly angry. “You are making a mess!” she snapped, angrily slamming her fist on his head. The blade went through his skull and he gasped, coughing once again. It only took a few seconds before he started choking, soon choking out his last breath. She sat there, completely still for the longest time. Slowly her breathing sped up and she stared at the mess she had just caused. She scrambled away from it, gagging. She did this… How could she do this? She sobbed, covering her mouth. She needed to leave this world… She was a monster… She was- “How brutal…” came a voice from nearby. She turned around, placing her bloodied hands on the ground to balance herself. She looked up at the mysteriously dressed figure, gasping. The person held out a hand. “Looks like you could use some… guidance.”© 2015 JordynKay |
