Light

This world can be so dark

All the pain, sorrow, disease....

It is heart breaking to see

What has become of this beautiful planet.

The people, even while broken,

Are so beautiful-

The way the human body

Moves alone

Shows that..

And that's to say nothing of the plants and animals..

The brightness of color

That the many flowers show;

The wonder of a child

Making discoveries

The sound of music..

All of this shoves the dark

Far away.

I am of the light-

Because in the light

All of the truth is seen.

I am of the light

Because of my belief

In Christ.

I am of the light..

By choice.
