The wind woke me today

Whispering softly to and fro

As the moments go 

And the sun begins to rise.

The wind woke me today

I heard it gently say,

"Love as thou wilt

Do unto others

As you would have done to you

And love the one you are with

Evermore."

The wind woke me today

With her gentle ministrations

The wisdom of the wind

Surpasses the ages

And taught the many sages

of the Earth.
