Ode to a Rose

Ode to a Rose

A Poem by Jordan
"

Toying with words.

"

Soft, silky petals

Glistening with dew.

Gorgeous, vibrant,

Full of life and color.

The rose proudly faces

The sun and those that

Might admire the beauty.

Drooping head, petals faded.

Softly dry, gently touched.

Gorgeous still

Even with papery skin.

Raise your head with pride, little rose,

The sun and we miss you.

Even fading, glory is your name.
