"Lost Soul"

"Lost Soul"

A Poem by JorDizzly

The rain falls
All around
As the calls
From beneath the ground
Are silently, so silently
Filling the halls
Of the sky and stars.

Darkness gathers
As passion grows
And mothers and fathers
Want not their children to know
The truth of passion
From the soul.

Making the child's soul
Feel lost and cry out
As the fighting is filling a pool
And understanding what it's about
Is never gained.

Wrapping in faith
And hearing day by day
That this Jesus saith
Being taught to hear not the say
Of the heart
For that can and will
Tear apart
What has been instilled.

Then one day all is torn
Taken from the child
And the reaction is far from mild
For of anger is it born.

Outside the sun shines
During the day while
At night the stars
Twinkle and blink
But yet with in the child
Feels a heart sink
And the turmoil spars.

Pain..
It's calling
As the days
Are rising and falling
And a soul is lost
Slowly and silently
Fading into the night.
