"Simple Pleasures"

"Simple Pleasures"

A Poem by JorDizzly

Relaxing in the park
Laying on the table
I feel a spark
Not entirely sure about the fable.

So much is on my mind
But for now
I leave it behind
and enjoy the company of another
While listening to the trees bow
To each other.

I tilt my face back
And feel the warm sun
On my face.. I crack
Each of my bones
as I relax and bask
Like a cat that's content as a bun..

People seek so much pleasure
and they don't look
within nature for the greatest treasure
Of all.. that has the greatest hook
The beauty of nature is all
Of the pleasure you need
As with each breath
Your chest rises and falls..
It's not something to be taken for granted
For life is but a breath, a moment...
Remember with your friends all that you banted
Love freely and truly..
and die as you and not a copy.

These are the true simple pleasures of life.

This is a delicious poem.
The philosophy is sound, the
structure is excellent, it sounds good.

You have done such an excellent job; I can smell
the grass, feel the sun on my back, hear birds singing
off in the woods. The picture is live before me.

Thank You !
