Something that i feel i needed to say

I miss us

I don't miss us but

The bitter-sweetness of memories

Is the only thing left for me

The chats we had

The way you sang to me

The way you calmed my fears

It left me naive

Your sweet words

Your toxic personality and

Your way of fooling my heart

I dont miss you

I miss you but

Those times are in the past

I have moved on

You haunt me to this day, however

Youre no longer part of my life

I didnt wanna say goodbye, and

I said goodbye, nevertheless,

I dont miss us

I miss us, but

We were never meant to be

All thats left are the scars on my heart and my will to live

You destroyed me

Your sweet words were the poison I drank

You were the high that let me “live”

I think it is for the best

Goodbyes are never easy, but

Its time this was said

That was amazing! I didn't see the top to bottom tag so I was kind of thinking "why is this structured this way?" To be honest with you I was thinking that this was going to be some kind of spiteful revenge poem, but it turned out very nice! Well done.

This poem works so well. I personally found it flows better from bottom to top, but nevertheless it's brilliant. Great bit of writing.
