The Keyboard of Life

The Keyboard of Life

A Poem by Jools

 Keyboard of life

Every note is individual

That is what makes music come alive

The Keyboard is the diversity but within

Is the need to contrive?

The need for a beginning,

The need for an end

The need for a destination

 The need to transcend.

So from all those needs humans developed cults

Mythologies, goals and ideologies

Then came the submission developed over time

And time gives strength in its essence

And the music plays on

But we can at any time alter the notes change the key

And play a new song if we choose

But some like the old and cannot see

That the music of life is a spirit that’s free

That freedom is life ‘as is’

And the notes we play make the music we love.

Those notes are individual,

 To each his own!

No need for religion

Made by wise men of old

Who stories cleverly fooled generations untold.

They look at the free thinker as lost to this world

A crying heart with pity they yearn to unfold.

The free thinker has no boundaries that veil...

So the heart is open to the wider trail...

 Never general,

Always searching within the midst

Barring, the last blob to exist.

It is a weakness of the ‘human being’

To abandon the mythologies of that unseen

Upon the never ending spinning wheel!!
