The Art of Stillness

The Art of Stillness

A Poem by Jonathan CuzBubbawicz

In the tempest of words, we stand like trees,
Roots deep in the ground, swaying in the breeze.
Each whisper, each shout, a rain on our leaves,
Yet we hold our ground, for true strength believes.

To react is to dance on a stage made of glass,
Every word a weight "how easily we pass.
But wisdom lies quiet, in the shadows and dark,
A pause between notes, where the true symphony sparks.

Breathe in the silence, let chaos recede,
Let thoughts flow like rivers, each current a seed.
For in the stillness, emotions find peace,
The power of choice blooms, allowing release.

Observe without shackles, let logic take flight,
In the gallery of feelings, step back to gain sight.
For if words hold the power to govern our soul,
To breathe is to break free, to reclaim what’s whole.

Let the world swirl around, like autumn's wild dance,
Embrace the inertia, give clarity a chance.
In the heart of the storm, let tranquility reign,
And in this still moment, your essence will gain.

Soften your heart, yet sharpen your mind,
For the beauty of life is in balance aligned.
With each breath a reminder, to rise and let pass,
In the art of stillness, find strength, let it last.
