My ApologyA Poem by Jonathan CuzBubbawiczI wrote this after an incident that was my fault causing my girlfriend and I to have are first major arguement.
In quiet chambers of regret, I dwell,
Where whispered truths mix, a fragile spell. Words once woven, now frayed at the seams, Tangle tender hearts, I shattered your dreams. Forgive my missteps, the stumbles of tongue, In the symphony of love, I feel unstrung. But know in my heart, truth's echo remains, A melody sweet, undying, through pains. For love is to be earned, i must pay what is due, Stitched with the moments, both old and new. I promise to gather each thread of my care, To weave you a promise, a love strong and rare. I wish i could start over, and mend what seems lost, With patience and kindness, I’ll bear every cost. In the garden of healing, let our hearts bloom, With apologies whispered, dispelling the gloom. © 2024 Jonathan CuzBubbawicz |
