Life's Embrace

Life's Embrace

A Poem by Jonathan CuzBubbawicz
"

The pain of dying while you are still alive

"
In the shadow's clutch, where silence dwells,
A tempest brews, within my mind it swells.
The weight of fate, a blanket tight and hot,
Each breath a whisper of battles long fought.
In electric storms where confusion reigns,
The blurs of existence dance across my veins.
The world twists, tangles, then pierces like glass,
But in this chaos, I learn to amass.
Moments of color, painted vivid and true,
Each pang a reminder, each flash a cue.
Life’s tender grasp, though frail it may seem,
Holds more than the darkness, it fosters a dream.
Doctors once whispered of shadows, of time,
But hope, like an ember, ignites from the grime.
Medicine's might, a cruel paradox, In agony’s cradle,
I learn to unlock, The beauty in pain, as strange as it feels,
A proof of my heart, as it races and reels.
While fear hangs like fog, thick and unkind,
I’ll cherish each heartbeat, each moment I find.
For life, in its splendor, through struggle it gleams,
In depths of despair, it whispers and schemes.
So let the storm rage, let the visions collide,
For in the embrace of pain, I’m alive, I decide.
