The Butterfly Effect

The Butterfly Effect

A Poem by Jonny The Savage

Ahh, the ever elusive happiness.
How we all crave you.

You're the butterfly we all chase,
But never seem to catch;
The allure that drives us,
But only in circles.

'Tis tragic that we've scared you away
With our loud trudgings of desperation,
But you must understand,
We live only in hope to know you.

So please, my friend, don't condemn us,
We "know not what we do."
