A Remembrance

A Remembrance

A Poem by Jonny The Savage

Upon a sign, "KEEP OUT" is written
In big bold letters,
More of a suggestion than a warning.

The remains of someone's life
Still lay untouched,
As they have for months.

The place they once called home
Is bare for all to see,
In parody of everything it had once been.

The whole scene just makes me wonder
How I'll be remembered,
Probably just like this pile of nameless trash.
