My Negative

My Negative

A Poem by Jonny The Savage

By every right
I should hate you,
But I don't, I can't,
And I don't know why.

You're everything I'm not,
My foil in all ways.
Yet, I'm drawn to you,
Just like a magnet.

So come, my negative,
Let us embrace
Until we destroy ourselves,
Just like we always dreamed.

I REALLY like the last stanza - that's the powerful part. And ending it with "dreamed" - the double meaning of that is great.

You need a comma after "So come"
