Does anyone else appreciate the irony of "social media" turning us into antisocial weirdos that stare at their phones rather than, you know, being social? I say this as someone who was an antisocial weirdo long before this "live your entire life online for an audience of strangers, advertisers, dataminers, intelligence communities and government officials...I mean your friends and family" s**t started.
Slowly, but surely, we ensure that privacy is something that no one has. Can't let people have opinions or differing beliefs, they must be fired, blackballed, ridiculed and openly hated for diverting from the nonsensical narrative IN ANY WAY! This is McCarthyism on crack. A police state cannot be maintained by hellfire missiles, drones, automatic weapons, hydrogen bombs or any other weapon...it must be maintained by a massive police force. So what is the most logical option if you want to ruthlessly control the way people live but it's unrealistic to have 7 billion police officers? You convince everyone that it's their duty to ruin the lives of others and that they DESERVE IT if they hold OPINIONS that don't fit the narrative you're pushing. You useful idiots are becoming the thought police for dark forces you cannot even fathom...you'll keep fighting a bogeyman that doesn't exist, while the REAL bogeyman pats you on the back and gives you some bread and admission to the next circus!
It's okay if we disagree with each another. Would you prefer that only two colors exist, or would you rather a rainbow of endless possibility? You are limiting the spectrum of human consciousness, and ruining lives, just so you can pretend that you're making the world a better place!
