The Savage Word

The Savage Word

A Poem by Jonny The Savage

Perception is both a blessing and a curse. I've learned and seen more than I ever cared to, and after you've reached the point that I have, there are only a few options remaining: lay prone on the threshold with your eyes put out, crusade for truth, love and longevity or fight to preserve the order of deceit, animosity and perceived "justice". Old snake eyes dines on his tasty tale again and again and again. I still find it amazing that people don't understand basic symbolism (perhaps a lifetime of hiding in plain sight is disillusioning only when understood?). A triangle inside of a circle is an easy one; if you've been paying attention.

This ends The Savage Word.
