Burning In Cosmic Effigy

Burning In Cosmic Effigy

A Poem by Jonny The Savage

Darkness consumes all;
Nowhere to run,
Nowhere to hide.

Hate defines us;
Fear our master,
Material our bride.

Tonight, the sky falls;
No one notices,
No one says good bye.

This is what we leave behind:
Monuments to our brutality,
Burning in cosmic effigy.
