You're Not Dead YetA Poem by Jonny The Savage
I smile, as the waves roll in,
Contemplating just where we begin. Mother nature, it was never my intention For my race to disgrace you with our inventions. The Sun shines so bright, That it burns my eyes. What the ancients must have prophesied In just a modest attempt to define. I sit amongst my brethren,
Many have misguided views of Heaven. But with that, you must sever; When you realize that nothing lasts for ever. The waves act as a chronometer, The Sun, a safety net. You are the interpreter, And you're not dead yet. © 2015 Jonny The SavageAuthor's Note
