I can't help but feel that ignorance is perhaps inextractible from the human condition. That we must wander blindly under ladders and cross black cats to discover superstition. That we must experience strife and suffering to truly appreciate when fate (or what have you) hands you a dream come true. Today though, there "is no ignorance", because everyone knows the "truth". Well at least their own version of it. Me? I've got an aversion to bullshit. It's certain that overzealous salesmen are gonna get hit, with the thread that if pulled will unravel the whole man. It happens often if your aim is truth, but most seek to misuse and abuse. There are many truths that you can never forget, and many more that will fill you with regret. So that's the real choice in life: remain "innocent" and ignorant as a babe, or feel the blade of truth's knife.
