Tina's Lesson

Tina's Lesson

A Poem by Jonny The Savage

I was grinding levels on Dragon Quest 4 and just discovering Warren Zevon; she was cleaning dogshit off of her car and was speeding so fast that I should've known she'd soon be gone. It was a bad decision but I didn't know at the time, I was too attracted to her body and her mind. We shared a bed, made me think it was true. No blame is on me, no blame is on you. A few months later thought I'd drop you a line. After a few words I realized you were out of your mind. Try as I tried, and fought as I fought. I slept with a meth head, and this is all that I got.
