Waking up

love at it's deepest darkest pain

if one day you wake up
and i'm not here
don't cry, don't grieve
don't write paragraphs about
how much you loved me
because,
when i was alone in my
darkest hours, you weren't
the one that would stay up
all night
to make sure i was alright,
don't say i was a bright young man
and wonder how people could
be so cruel,
because in some ways,
you were the reason i might've
took my own life that night.

I hope this isn't something that you wrote as a sort of suicide note. If so, please don't do anything like that. Life is precious. About the poem though, I can understand where it's coming from. Dark times. It's beautiful.
