A Poem by Jonny

As she stared into his eyes

He stared back into hers

“Please don’t leave,” she said

But the boy knew he had to leave

She wasn’t the only one he had to protect now

The girl also knew this

“I don’t want to but I have to,” he said

“Stay with me forever,” she said

Once his duty was complete he would make her wish come true

With a kiss on her forehead

He vanished as his scent left the thin air

Hoping not to be forgotten

Hoping once he returned home

She would still be his

Beautiful and romantic write.
Filled with emotion depth and lots of love.
I loved the ending and how if she loves him she will be right there waiting for him when he returns home.
I really enjoyed the read :)
Keep on writing :)
