One must see the glass as half full rather than half empty, a lesson that should be conveyed a little more often.

I like the intended contradictions or what was it called, the aparthesis when you have two opposite terms, I think. I can't remember right now. Oh well, I liked it, but I don't understand the last line.

Is it supposed to mean that the narrator sees the negativity sprewing from his way of living or perhaps he meant that....I don't know, explain to me if you can or have time.
