Magically Gone

A moral poem describing more than often what us humans do.

He wrapped his arms behind his back

Thinking the birds would take his burdens away,

But the problems were too highly stacked.

A world of issues is only what remains.

ABAB. This poem was thought of in the middle of the night. I spouted off line one and wrote the rest early in the morning.

Poems do not have to be long and specific for it to be good. You show that here. Abstract poems are going extinct it seems to detail. But these poems change to the readers perspective. I can understand what you mean by what humans do...when the going gets too tough their mind shuts down and they let the universe deal with the problems. not really a good choice most of the time. Good write!

The poem inspires the reader to think in a variety of ways expanding his or her way of thinking.

It conveys a very true meaning that Man often tries to do everything when God is in control. The human race has so much to learn.

Anyways, I like the poem, which is wierd because I normally don't like short poems; they're often too simple, but yours leave a hint of complication in my mind.
