Of course you want satisfaction, why do I need to ask? But did you know satisfactions goes as far as you take it?
“If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astonish ourselves” - Thomas Edison
Felt like punching the wall all day New committments spouting as I failed, okay? I want to be a great man Perhaps smart or strong, but oh wait, I did began All those high goals and dreams Failure is my future, it seems. Hoping to win the perfect girl And able to lift iron by lots of curls, Cause the world tells me what sexy is I'm just failing quiz after quiz. I also tried to impress. Thinking that my works would suppress This lousy desire of glory, But ha that just makes a foolish story!
But My failures, Don't have to be so. I can choose Choose where I want to go! Success is only a step away I can't sit and stay!
The blind woman, Fanny Crosby, is great By her many works she had create. There is Helen Keller, blind and deaf Who saved others lives at war. There are many with no hands or feet But a huge victory they continually repeat! What I've learned is they continually act And not sit at the desk with books stacked!
Create a goal, Follow through. Create a goal, Follow through. Imagine the success, Imagine the joy. Imagine the success, Imagine the joy.
Satisfaction is at your hands You can have your goals reach the skies. Just continually make plans And you will be surprised!
If this inspired you please say so. I want to inspire others and wish to know. If you can see need for improvement please give constructive criticism. Thank-you.

This was inspirational and soooo good. I love to read work that is full of emotion and amazing sets of stanzas. You know how to put the words just right. Good job.
I am TRULY inspired. I am reminded about my desire to write again. I mean when I read this, I get more confidence and assurance, the lesson I must learn and take as a writer. I have to except failure and lately I've been afraid of it and that's why when a chance comes along, I decline. I am a TRUE procrasinator when it comes to decision making. People said when I was young that it's HARD to start a story, but for me, it's easy, completeing it is the problem or the mile run. I know full WELL that, if you don't take a risk, don't get up and do something, nothing will come to you, but sometimes a girl just needs to hear it from someone other than herself, lol.
However, this line kinda threw me off: "Perhaps smart or strong, but oh wait, I did began" It seemed so forced to ryhme with the previous line. That could rhyme another way.
Also the third stanza, this line: "Who saved others lives at war." It stood out almost a little too much. I could understand if that was following a sort of trend, but I didn't see it, so, maybe that could be a revised.
I dunno, but I really like this poem and I will treasure it.
I am glad that I stopped to read this- and yes it inspired me to get off my a** and get busy with my writing. I tend to sit sometimes just thinking, and not doing. I have a friend who is blind and he is going river rafting, imagine how it would feel going down the water. Much like being on a ride in the darkest part and not knowing where you are going- but still having fun. We should always strive to do something knew, take chances or dive in to the places unknown, in our case writing unknown! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration too!!
I loved the quote that set the perfect tone for your write. (I love the hymns of Fanny Crosby...) This was profoundly lifting and inspiring in every way! Just imagine.. yes!
