When Wisdom Dawns

Wisdom usually dawns at the end of our folly.

Each night brings back wisdom

Showing: how short life was,

But when I wake and it is day

I am a fool for my many flaws.

My flaws I commit so hastily without thought,

For I indulge in my lustly ways

To satist my desire; my body

And at the time, this I sing and praise.,

But when night approaches

And all is gone,

I find what a fool I have been

And to this wisdom just dawns.
