Mark 2

Mark 2

A Chapter by Not A Writer
"

My poetical interpretation of chapter two of the book of Mark

"

Why is my heart so narrow and rigid?

I’m critical, hysterical,

Thinking I can traverse this cave

Without you. Caze without you, I’m lost in my thoughts.

Don’t, don’t turn on the lights.

I’m, I’m life here to die.

I, I don’t want ya planning my life (my life)

But, but you say otherwise.

“Son, your sins are forgiven”, you say.

I can’t help but look at you in dismay.

“Rise, pick up your bed, and go home” (go home),

And I just think: you’re out of your mind.

“Follow, follow, you’ve gotta follow me.

You’ve got a heart of one of those Pharisees.

Come, give away your life.

I’ve come to save the sick to die (to die).

I’ve come to save the sick to die."
