Silent SpeechA Poem by Jong Schrijver
The man etching phrases into stone
Knowing he must work alone. The silent guardian of words Yet his own voice remains unheard. Trapped in a world of silent speech But he doesn't need to speak, to teach. And the things that he has shown Why does he still remain unknown? So who will be the one around When this mans fate is bound? When he dies all alone Who will carry on with that stone? © 2010 Jong SchrijverAuthor's Note
